HF Operating Event – Mayo River State Park

Many of us were disappointed that we weren’t able to hold our annual Winter Field Day activities in January because of the winter storm and cold weather.  The board met and decided that we wanted to have another event soon – even before the springtime – to give everyone a chance to get together, camp if desired, and have fun together on the radio for a weekend.  As a result, we have decided to hold our next HF operating event at Mayo River State Park Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, similar to how we have our Field Day weekends.  We have reserved the group campsite at the park for the entire weekend, so you’re welcome to bring a tent and a radio (or two) and enjoy some time outdoor on the air with friends.  In addition, Mayo River State Park is POTA US-2743, so you can activate it over the course of the weekend!
